Forcing them to transition to an entirely new language at this stage creates significant academic stress, disrupts continuity in learning, Particularly with board exams coming up next year

I'm against implementing at this level, where students have been studying a language for a long time, and hoped to select a language of their choice in Grade 9. English is also a foreign language. if goverment is keen to enforece their ideology then all education ciriculum should be in Native. Hypocritical thinking i am against/
My kid currently in 9th grade has French as second language. Implementing 3 language policy with 2 languages as native rules out the option of reading French and learning a new language while getting ready for board exams. This creates immense pressure for the kid to purse a native language as second language, I mean it is not even possible for the kid to start a language as second language... this deteriorate his academic performance in other subjects as he will have to put extra efforts on this new subjects to learn... this being said he will also have to learn another subjects 3rd language. Why create such chaos and pressure for kids who are already pressed on the board exams at this stage...

It is an insensitive order from CBSE to impose 2 native languages all of a sudden to 9th std students. Grade-9 and above students are already burdened with preparation for various entrance exams, now adding this language burden is a ruthless, stressful policy against students. Very insensitive and irresponsible policy.
