On Tuesday October 14th, the Groveland Twp Board voted 4-0 to rescind the option to lease to Vesper Energy aka Woodson Energy at Site B off Grange Hall Rd across from the Mines of Oakland. 1 vote abstained, due to conflict of interest; the trustee who abstained works at the same place as 2 employees from the PEA Group that were present with Vesper Energy representative at Groveland Twp board meeting September 3rd

Groveland Township Planning Commission Meeting: MONDAY, OCTOBER 20th @ 7PM
4695 Grange Hall Rd. Holly, MI 48442.
The meeting will focus on whether they will adopt a new Workable Incompatible Ordinance (WIO) Draft B or if they will recommend to the board to keep Draft A or create a new safer for the community Draft C (doesn't exist)

Let your voice be heard. Let the township know you want them to create a WIO that preserves our communities as they are and fits their Master Plan. They need to place stringent guidelines for any large companies who try to build.
