I have just extended the signature collection phase for one month. Since the cloud shutdown is still ongoing (my neato is still online...) and signatures keep coming in at a decent rate, I want to keep collecting.

Dear undersigned, I recently stumbled over this post on reddit from two years ago: www.reddit.com/r/NeatoRobotics/s/ho9TLQ9UQz
The user claims to have successfully installed a Vorwerk Kobold firmware on a Neato BotVac.
This is very interesting, since it's a sign that Neato's vacuum robots are technically very close to Vorwerk's robots.
That shed's a very bad light on Vorwerk: Instead of keeping "two cloud services" alive, they could also just patch the Neatos to work on the Vorwerk cloud. But obviously they prefer to waste the Neatos - in order to generate new sales?
Please do share the petition and this news - we need to get the pressure up on this topic!
P.S.: I clearly do NOT recommend to install the Vorwerk firmware. The author of the post states that a connection cannot be established afterwards. But I am sure Vorwerk could easily provide a modified firmware that allows the Neatos to register with the Vorwerk cloud. It's a matter of will.

thank you for your support so far.
Please everybody help spreading the petition. My network is limited, especially abroad. So all you guys in USA, Australia, France, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, ... - try to find good spots to link this petition. Some inspiration:
* Find news portals that have covered the news, and either comment the news or let them add a news about the petition
* Find forums/message boards for Neato or vacuum cleaners in general, and register and post there
* Find chat groups like Discord to post the link there
* Use social media like Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, you name it
Any help is appreciated. I think it's imperative that we get a broad coverage NOW. The petition runs for two months, but the anger is here NOW, so we need to be known to get the most of it. Thanks!
Additionally, I still need translators for every language other than German or English. Please contact me via the button labeled "Question to the initiator" on the main petition page.

Dear petitioners,
thank you for your support. The first few signatures are the most difficult and thus most important ones.
We can see signatures from France, the Netherlands, Germany, UK...
I think for further success it would be helpful to get translations of the petition text into the system. If you volunteer to translate into your native language, please contact me via the petition platform.
