The price of eggs is astronomical and as a single mother not only would this help with grocery prices but it would also be a fun and interactive experience for my children growing up and it would teach them to care for something on their own and get them outside more!

I have family who live in city limits and have lots of space in their yards and in turn want chickens to provide eggs for their family. They grew up on ranches. So know what they are doing. I feel it would be beneficial for the people who don't have farmland.

The benefits of having chickens has always been a part of our lives. Teaching our kids to be responsible, and caring for animals is an important tool for our family, as well as many others. Having quality eggs for my family, especially with the egg shortages and high prices. The freedom to raise chickens as pets and an asset for a healthy way if life. This should be acceptable in Fort wayne. Many other cities in the state have the ability. Why not us?
