I care about all the animals and they need the help and good conditions and the humans need to quit failing them.

Because I care about animal welfare.

All of my dogs have been rescues.. My blind dog was thrown into a McDonald’s dumpster in Georgia as a young puppy. If people hadn’t cared about dogs, treating them humanely, meeting their needs, they would have likely died and I would have been deprived of the richness they bring/ brought to my life. Animals need safety, a healthy environment, good diet, medical care, while they are awaiting their forever homes. Having dogs and cats roaming around without someone caring for them is dangerous for them, and the community, leads to unwanted pregnancies, and a host of other problems. There are many kindhearted people who want to help, but they cannot take in every animal that needs help. The community deserves to have a good facility and staff who they can count on when they find an animal in need.
