Pushing the start of regular dark goose season in Missouri to the first weekend in December instead of the middle of November, and racking those days onto the end of the season in February.

Reason

Goose season currently starts too early, and ends too soon. The winters are no longer getting cold enough, early enough, to force the Canada geese to migrate to us. We currently have 88 days to hunt dark geese in Missouri. For a large part of Missouri we don’t see the migration of geese until the last 15%-20% of the season. For most, the 2-3 weeks we get in November are completely worthless. The weather we used to get in December, now comes in January. The weather we used to get in January, now comes in February. The weather data is there, as well as the migration data to back this.
