The Winfield Unified School District Board of Education is voting to approve the Winfield Highschool handbook, which includes removing the Renaissance cords (graduation cords) system for all future graduating classes starting with the class of 2027.
Reason
The voting will be happening in June by the Board. Over twenty year tradition that recognizes senior achievement as they leave Winfield Highschool. This is one of the only ways students are recognized for academic achievement and success.
