First, let me say thank you all for showing your support for the Marshfield Cell Tower petition.

I wanted to let everyone know about 2 very important dates for you to mark down:

Verizon is conducting a "balloon float test" where balloons are floated on the site of the proposed tower to visually illustrate the height and location of the proposed tower. Be sure to view it from home, or come to the Old Schoolhouse Common where it is very prominently visible. If you capture any good photos or video of the test, please send them to erik.van.hauer@gmail.com

Verizon will be presenting their case to the Selectboard at a special meeting. We also have secured a presentation slot for Annette Smith, Director of VCE.org to balance the information. Unfortunately, the Marshfield Selectboard has not yet announced this meeting so the time is unknown. Selectboard meetings usually begin around 6 or 6:30 pm. So please keep your eyes peeled on Front Porch Forum or the town calendar for the announcement for further details.
